wierd suspension feeling

about 2 months ago i installed h+r front and rear sway bars. i thought i did everything correct (installed them on ramps, torqued them to the correct specs). so on saturday im driving and i swerve to avoid a pothole and it felt very strange. it felt as if just the body was moving freely on the frame. i swerved a few more times to see if it was still there and it was. it hasn't gone away yet. its pretty hard to describe. if im going in a straight line and i move the wheel to left and right it feels like the body of the car is just sliding but the car keeps going straight. any ideas? thanks in advance!

Hmm, sounds more like you may have thrown off the alignment. But just as a precaution, it could also mean that some bolts are loose- check all your suspension bolts and make sure they are secure.
