Car in question 2001 S4, car is not cranking with key.

did you ground out any wires ? im guessing its the ignition switch take it out n test it wit volt meter

shit man... have you looked at the timing belt? Id get a rachet on the crank bolt and run it through to make sure nothing happened there

well guys just learned that my car is missing the central locking module that is located in the trunk. it sends a signal to the cluster which allows the car to start. i ran a wire (to Ground) from one of the relay's under the driver side dash. Then it cranks with the key!!! anyways ordered the module from A&P AUTO SPECIALTIES, LLC for $80.00 Thanks Chase. dealer wanted $492.87

now need to figure out y no spark

today the car CRANK and STARTED!!!

THE PROBLEM----- a member here was suppose to recode my ECU to a B Box. He F**KED up somehow????

so Thanks to Marc AKA 10secS4 i got a GIAC B Box from him today and my car Started!!!! After 4 1/2 weeks of touble shooting checking wires and GROUNDS.....

Now its time to find the "member" that SCAMMED me out of an ECU!!! Not going to mention any names yet. However you know who you are!!!
