Anyone have the AWE Twin 1 w/piggies?

Just wondering how loud it was, and before you guys rip me a new one for asking, Ive looked at all the charts and have heard it on youtube. Im trying to decide on the Twin 1 or Twin 2 but theres no doubt that Im going with piggies instead of the ridiculously high priced kits from APR or AWE, etc...
Any feedback on the issue would be greatly appreciated because summers approaching and I want to get my exhaust on soon! Thanks

i have the twin 1 w/ ASP 3" dp's and test pipes. one of the best sounding s4's ive heard besides the GT kits w/ externals

I have the Twin 1 and piggie pipes. The car is not loud at all. Go for it.

have a twin1 and i thought it would be LOUD but I was surprised. Its really not that bad, I would go for it.

i have twin 1 with piggies, tis not that loud man. its gets a little louder when it gets hot but even then its not too bad. i want downpipes now instead of piggies to get a little bit on the agressive side. the turbospool sounds nice with dp's. piggies baffle them.

Ask AudiSportB5S4. He has piggies with main cat deletes (aka test pipes) going to a Twin 1. I think it sounds pretty loud. It definitely sounds bad ass.

I havent got all the tickets from a loud exhaust
I mostly got them from a POS mustang I had when I was 17
I just dont want an obnoxiously loud exhaust that gets me pulled over every day

Fueling plays a part in the answer... at least for me. With my old homebrew fueling the car (stage 3) would run rich and I would get loud pops/bangs all the time. It actually sounded pretty cool.

With the current AWE fueling I really only get a gurgle. However, as the exhaust gets older I do get a nice pop from time to time. Nothing too loud though.

dam i missed all this at work! lol... as graham was saying i have the piggies into straight pipes where the main cats were so i have no cats at all then the twin one. its loud as hell. i got a ticket last week, i didnt even understand, i was going 5 mph UNDER the speed limit as im approaching my job on a long straight road i was doing 40mph,and im like dam i wonder why there is a cop behind me maybe registration expired (we have stickers on plates in CT), and he was like i could hear your car coming way down the street over 3/4 mile... mind you i was in 4th gear doing 40 so i was barely making noise i would of thought. bitches.... but WOT, forget about it, better be a highway or you KNOW there isnt a cop in sight or hearing distance, its loud... let off ANY gear at ANY rpm, you get backfiring. street, highway you name it.... this clip is in dead winter, to be honest it doesnt show the sound that well, listen on the pull towards the end its somewhat like that.

Dude, the twin 1 has dual pipes, hence the name TWIN 1 haha. Only difference is that the mid muffler is removed.

It pops and gurgless.. at about 5000-6500k rpm...

yeah the difference between piggies and full DP's is pretty noticeable....if i were you id try to pick up a set of used either AWE or ASP or something along those lines....you wont be dissapointed

yessir! I wouldnt want it ANY louder than it is i'll tell you that. im telling you add like 50 decibels to that video clip and thats what its like. lol . sometimes i mistake the snaps crackles and pops for friggin gunshots no joke they are loud sometimes, reeeealy loud
