Is it recommended to just get the keys or are there any home brew methods of getting the radio out?

Yes, it's not worth the hassle. Either buy a set, build a set or stop at a local Best Buy or Circuit City. If you ask a tech at BB or CC they may do it for free or say they have to charge. If you lived closer I would do it for you.

Sounds good. I just got my Dension Gateway 300 and I ordered some keys off ebay ($9 shipped). I've had the Dension sitting in my house for 5 days and the damn keys are not here yet (been over 2 weeks!). I REALLY want to get the Dension installed but I guess I need to be patient and wait for the keys. He must have shipped them by carrier pigeon.
