I am assuming that you are talking about the oil feed lines to the turbo's...correct? If so, I know that I saw a company that sells "upgrades" to the factory lines. As far as I am concerned, just make sure that yours are good and clean, free from obstructions kinks and other things that would restrict flow and you would be fine. If you really want to "upgrade" them, see if you can find a local aeroquip dealer and you could have custom -3an lines made for you and would probably cost no more then $60 or so for your desired length and fittings.

I think (don't quote me on this), that it is just the passenger side oil line that was "upgraded".

I have never seen any data that supports that turbo failure is in any way related or proportional to the size difference in the oil lines between MY '00 and '01.5. I would clean yours and re-use them.
