I'm running 225/45-17 on 17x8's, so I'd imagine you could go up to 235s.

i'm running 17x8.5 with a 27mm offset.

225/45r17's for just a little stretch. 205's would stretch like crazy, and 245's would fit comfortably.

I ran 255's with my SSR comps. Rolled and pulled fenders.

I run 245/40-17 Yoko Guardex snows on 17x8 and ran 235/45-17 Pilot Sports and 235/40-17 Toyo RA1 track tires on 17x8 too. No rubbing with any of them but my lips are rolled and sealed and the liner is trimmed back. The 245/40-17 Yokos have about 2/8 of inner clearance.
