    noob question please help

    if a wheel has the same offset as factory...does that necessarily mean it will clear factory brakes???

    The thickness and shape of the spokes can play into the ET needed to fit the car, so its not a guarantee if the ET is the same. It would be worth a test fit if possible !

    Nope. Spoke design and barrel design come into play. If ET is the same, that means it just sits on the same position on the hub as your stock wheels, but spoke and barrel clearance could be different.
