2 errors, all of a sudden. Help!!

    Yesterday everything was fine.

Today I start the car, and I get the "Handbrake" light flashing with 2 or three beeps. I look at the manual and it mentions thats its low brake liquid. Could it be anything else? The brakes work fine.

But then after driving for a minute, I get the Oil signal but with the word SENSOR beside it. Great. I continue to drive and both of these stayed on.

Do you guys think these two are related? Whats this Oil sensor all about? did not find anything about it in the manual. Maybe I missed it.

I will check the engine oil level, but I doubt its that: just added oil about a month ago.

    Any help is appreciated. thanks.

It will only flash and beep if the brake fluid is low. When was the last time you got a brake fluid flush? Notice anything under the car after it's been parked?

I have not done any brake fluid flushes since I bought the car about a year ago. Its a 2002, so maybe its time to do it. Nothing that I can tell under the car. I noticed yesterday that when I turn and the steering is to max, the wheels tremble. Do you think they related?

    What about that oil sensor..?

Re: 2 errors, all of a sudden. Help!!

After driving today, the brakes fluid message disappeared... just like that.

The oil sensor was ON, then off for like 10 minutes, and then back on. Now its on. Weird.

Engine oil's level is normal. No apparent leaking.

    Any ideas guys (and girls)?

UPDATE: Is the Oil sensor something I can check manually myself? (where is it located, etc..)

You probably have low oil pressure, (sludge, clogged pickup tube). Not a good idea to be driving it like that
