Silver Audi owners need your help/opinion

I have noticed that my rear bumper and my front bumper seem to be a shade darker than the rest of the car, especially the rear bumper. I know 100% that the paint is OEM but it really bothers me how it doesn't match the rest of the car.

I have recently been on the hunt for rear shots of any silver Audi particularly a B7 A4/S4/RS4 and have noticed this same trend. Do you silver Audi owners notice the same phenomenon with your cars?

Do you guys think I should try and get someone to re-paint the bumpers to try and match the rest of the car or would I be wasting my money/time?

It seems that painting plastic never comes out the same as metal but I wonder if a better match could be achieved. I also have a felling that the way Audi designed the bumper doesn't help the color to blend in with the rest of the car, again mostly in the rear.

Here is an example of what I am talking about:

Funny thing is in certain lighting the match is pretty close but in the example above it's really noticeable.

i do notice it on my car. in fact, my rear bumper was just bugging me a bit today since my car got scratched and i was staring it for the whole day.

but most of the time it's not noticeable, it really depends on the lighting and angle.

i wouldn't repaint because of that.

you can see it in this pic (of the front bumper):

I notice it on my rear bumper.... My painted Reiger front bumper actually matches better than my stock one used to.

Mine were like that also, but I believe mine were repainted at some point. I had my rear matched up because I had a nick on it anyways.

The bumper covers on my silver S4 avant are also darker in shade than the rest of the car. If you look closely, the side skirts are the same shade as well, but you can't tell as much because of the shadow thrown by the car.

Raudi is actually 100% right on this one. They is a special additive that gets mixed into the paint for parts that can bend and flex (like the plastic bumber), so although it is technically the same color that additive throws it off a little but isn't usually obvious.

I have a silver car too, I think it is most noticeable in silver, but this doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Normal, they paint bumpers, blades, etc separately from the car and attach at the end of assembly. Normal to have some color and tone variation.
