New here, diving in with a question

I bought a 2003 Avant about a month ago. I'm thinking of swapping out the wood trim with ones that are piano black. My car's black with a tan interior, so I think it'll look nice. My questions are this: Has anyone out there put the piano black on a tan interior? How does it look? Also, does anyone know where I can find some? I found some for a B5, but no B6. I'm starting to think my best route is to have some refinished.

Yeah it might be easier and faster to just remove, strip, sand and paint.

I'm new here, too. Just got a 2003 quattro yesterday. I have the black leather with piano black. I was wondering how wood would look in it. Maybe we could trade!

hmmm: on second thought, I wonder if the "quattro" lettering on the piece above the glove box would come off...

I could be game for a trade. I'm assuming your interior looks something like this:
