i was trying 2 fix my maf today and was up under the dash testing wires and checking fuses n relays. I musta hit off a piece of electrical tape the previous owner put by the ignition wire it was a red and black wire. Anywayse i go 2 start up the car and the piece of wire was touching a piece of metal and started smoking. So i quickly shut it off, after that taped the wire and tried 2 start her up nothing at all didnt even crank now checked all fuses. i think i fried my ignition switch the wires all look fine no burns or melts. i will hopefully get a new ignition switch tommorow hopefully i dont need 2 replace the whole shabang like wheir the key goes in. hopefully its just a clip on or something i didnt take out the switch yet anyimput abt replacing thiss
