I'm wondering how everyone installed their sides, over the originals or replaced them all together. Trying to get the best look and fitment whether it's original oetti or replica. Thanks!

They're meant to be installed right over the OEM sides. I used 3M windshield glue and 2 screws front and back when installing. The glue that oetty supplies with the kit works great but makes it impossible to remove if you ever decide to part out or trade in.

My bodyshop wants to try to install them as replacements because he's concerned about the door rubbing when opening the doors. Any pros and cons to each install other than parting later?
