The heated seats switch for both driver and passenger are supposed to light up when on, and they don't on mine. Before I go to dealer, is there something I'm doing wrong?

idk about the 08's but for the other models its not a switch. its more of a scroll thing, and they dont light up. maybe youre confusing the light up switch which is for defrost buttons.

According to the owners manual, when you scroll to any number other than 0, the numbers are supposed to light up.

Well if you keep it in a garage, start up the car maybe 5 minutes before you get in. Turn the seat warmer up to 6 and let it heat up. That's a good way to keep it controlled when you see if they work (and you don't have to sweat while driving around).

And do that with the engine running...mine don't seem to work unless the engine is running, even if the key is turned on. Also, my numbers don't light up.
