    Exclamation Forge DV Owners Beware!!!!!

Not bashing Forge by any means, just letting Forge DV owners know that the top of the valve backs out with time and vibration. Thanks to the two coolest guys I know Jake(jakecro) and James(offroader106) I was able to solve my boost issues. Dropped 10 PSI going to Quattro De Mayo and had to limp back home. They found the loose DV and used some good ole thread lock and now I'm good as new. Hopefully this is a permanent fix. Thanks guys.

If I'm not mistaken, Forge reccomends that you use thread lock during the install. And if thats the case, their product is not the problem. The problem is the person who installed it.

I've read that the valve itself comes apart after a while.
Why should the owner/buyer have to do final assembly of the valve to install it? The stock DV comes as one piece and you install it.
An aftermarket DV should come assembled, and properly.

    Maybe I'm missing something?

I agree, for a part that expensive no assembly required.

Yep I put like a 150 miles on it so far, still good but you definetly gotta keep an eye on it. Which I think should'nt be for $225 plus labor.
