Have they worked on an S4 before lol? They might reconsider after they get a look at the engine bay.

Nah, it's not that bad. A TB job usually runs you about $1000. I'd do it for 850.

The shop does nothing but German Vehicles. Everytime i go there they have like 3 s4s and a couple m3's in the parking lot. They install lots of performance stuff too. Im pretty sure they know what they are in for. They did my wheel bearings 2 weeks ago and i am pleased with their service.

Sounds like a great price to me. Best price around here that I know of is $1K.

Under 1k and your looking at a good price. 850 sounds pretty low, but if they are a good place then by all means do it. Its not a hard job that you need to be worried about just takes time. Hope that helps. Get it done!

Who's your shop? MobileOne? or Renn-Art?

That's a great price. I just did Alternator/TB for $1600. Of course, I got raped.

ummmm yea, ya think? wtf did they charge you for? im 100% sure you got overcharged. mitchell labor (what they probably use, what most places use) calls for like 4.1 hours if im not mistaken. even if their rate is $100 (which its not, probably like 85-93) it would only be 440 + the part. you need to get that worked out man, you are owed back over a 1000 dollars.

    Re: Timing belt Job

Depends what your total cost of parts you buy, but labor under $500 is good.

I got an awesome deal from SSP tuning in NY.

    Re: Timing belt Job

That's a nice price, once you do the TB once it takes no time at all to do it again.
