the guy actually did a favor to the person who WILL buy the cars. I am sure someone will, the S5 sell like crazy. I just ordered mine, but otherwise (still considering but need dynamic suspensions) I would jump on this car right away !@!!!

Then that's explained why tons of people purchase cars above MSRP I guess I'm one of those cheap bastard who got 2 new cars 3 weeks after launch 2k below MSRP and laughed at my friends who paid for the same exact car 8 months after @ 3k over MSRP

I must be the retarded, rich guy (I assure you I am neither) who just paid about $5K to $7K ABOVE MSRP....and was happy to do it. Supply and Demand at its finest. On top of that, I'm having the car shipped all the way to south Florida.....because based on 8 weeks of research (and every Audi dealer in Florida and most in the United States) I could only find about 14 S5s and none in Black/Black....until I came across this forum and Brian's INFORMATIVE post.....Give the guy a break, he was just doing his job (well) and it paid off.

It's funny to me how 90% of the boards out there end up with someone getting pissed off over something stupid and trivial. This board is a means of communicating between Audi fans and the astounding cars they consistently produce. Relax guys and enjoy all the information we have at our disposal with this board.

Thanks man. Not that I wanted to spend more money than I had to, but after much research you find the balance between how bad you want this beautiful car and what "market" truly is. The market is fluid and I'm pretty convinced that this was the going rate unless I wanted to wait six months....and who wants to do that?!?. Now maybe I can sleep at night knowing I finally pulled the trigger.
