    Question Wet sanding tails?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I bought some tinted led tails here a while ago and they have been great. Today I noticed some clear coat has chipped off the untinted part (the turn signal and reverse aren't tinted)

Not sure if I should wet sand the entire tail lights - They are looking kind of flat

I've never wet sanded before - grit needed? clearcoat?

    Thanks!

    Re: Wet sanding tails?

You can do it, start w/ some 800 to remove the clear and move up to 1000, 1500, 2000 and buff out.
