    Re: Exhaust for A4?

hahaha, i just had a flashback to the days when i was looking for my exhaust.......

    lessons i learned:

    1. when it comes to exhausts, just search, there are a MILLION posts about them....as mentioned above, the mod sticky is a GREAT place to start as it has tons of useful info in it.

    2. when it comes to exhausts, you are NEVER going to be able to use anyones opinions on here for assistance because everyone has a different opinion on whats too loud/quiet, looks, piping diameter, etc, etc, etc......so unless you can find some local people that have different exhausts on their car, just pick one and go with it.....peoples opinions on here are useless!

    3. on that note, have fun deciding! i wrestled over the decision for a while, chose to go with the Milltek and have been very happy with it....take it for what its worth!
She said its just a car...i said you're just a girl.

A company called Elite (google "elite exhaust") made him a custom exhaust and put Remus tips on it. You can buy tips, mufflers, glasspacks or any combination thereof and take it to a trusted shop somewhere to do you a custom exhaust as well.

12/23/09 - My car has been phenomenal to me. Runs strong. Don't think I'm ever going to sell it. Rather throw $7k into it for a refresh than buy a new A4 that has no dipstick.

    ^^^

yep, I'll be going Borla or Neuspeed whenever I get motivated. Just make sure you get a cat-back exhaust.

I don't think Borla makes exhaust for the B6. At least not for the 2005 1.8T manual according to their website?.?.

My roommate has full Borla on his 350Z and it sounds amazing!

    Re: Exhaust for A4?

I put a vote in for the A.W.E. cat back exhaust, looks great, sounds perfect (on the quiter side but still throaty), and has adjustable tips to get the look you want... but at the same time I will agree with Converted2audi, just do your research or find some people near you with some live examples for the best imput.... happy hunting
