If you've gone this far and you haven't had your timing belt done, yikes, you need it done asap. Any dealer should be able to do this.

However, the Timing Belt (TB) is going to make this service at the dealer a killer. I would suggest you find a local specialist or Indy VAG place to do this for you.

Read up in the forum on TB changing. Make sure the full thing is done including all rollers, tensioners, waterpump and thermostat.

You can find the kits at ecstuning or blauparts, and an Indy should be able to save you a few thousands off the dealer's price.

Have a look at this link. It lists what should be done at the various service intervals.

    http://www.bentleypublishers.com/tech/audi

This doesn't mean that the Audi dealership will do all of the items listed. So you should check with the one you want to use directly.

Don't go to dealer for this -- it will be at least 2x the cost of what it should be.
