    Question Car Almost Stalling!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
When I start my car and put it in drive it wants to stall and the RPM's bounce between 500-1000, but if I start the car and let it warm up before I put it in drive it's good to go. What's making it sputter right after I turn it on and put it in drive?

    Re: Car Almost Stalling!

Probably a vac leak, check that small hose connected to your intake manifold. It comes of quite easily. Been having the same problem ever since I had my B5 Passat. Finally got a screw clamp and took care of it last week.
