Well I got the tires mounted yesterday and couldn't wait any longer. I have no license so originally I only planned on mounting and balancing the tires. I wanted to make sure they were straight and true after reading about the last guy who bought used HRE's. Thankfully they were in great shape with no problems. Since the coils and other things were being done this week I decided I might as well put them on so I know how low to go and also gave her a bath. Well I couldn't be any happier just can't wait for the coils to go in and of course my license so I can drive her.

I haven't messed with yet and when looking at it in person it looks fine. I think it might be the camera angle.

Within the next month I'm going to clear the corners, paint the calipers and give her an extensive detail. Then of course I'll whore her out and you can get a better look.

Thanks they're 18x8 and 18x9 and not sure about the offset. I know about quattro and running stag, but I don't care. This car will never see a track or drag strip so it's cool with me in case anyone was wondering. I had some guy on AW bitch and whine when I was asking about tires.

Wheels are very nice but they look pretty dinky and a bit out of place on your 4x4 - please do those wheels some justice and lower the ride.

... and +1 for the rear wheels rubbing, they stick out pretty far.

Don't worry as long as my mechanic isn't jammed my lift kit put should be going in some time this week lol.. I hope and pray that it doesn't rub, but if it does I'll find a way to make it work one way or another. I know its two total different cars, but in my first car(93 accord) I remember my after market wheels stuck out just as much. When I lowered it the wheels had some very slight neg camber, they shaved the wheel well lip and everything worked out great. There's not lip on the rear of our car, but if possible I'll allow some very slight neg camber. Here's a pic I took from the rear to show how much it sticks out.

You don't have to do coilovers, just get some Neuspeed or H&R Sports. Then call it a day.
