    replaced battery now ESP light is on

    So i went to get a battery today, no esp light was on everything was good.

    changed the battery now the traction control light is on and wont turn off..

    Is there something i need to reset or what?

    yep i feel like a jack ass,...moved the car 3 feet and it turned off....NICEEE...i love problems that fix themselves...

    Yeah, you figured it out. That is normal. It resets after battery disconnect.

    yeh, i read another post and it said "after you replace it ur gonna come on here and say the esp light wont go out cuz u have to move the car". read that moved it in the driveway, viola.,...gone

    Yeah I freaked out too when I had my Avic D3 installed. plus the windows didn't go up with a 1 touch.

    On some cars (350Z) for example, disconnecting the battery will cause the security codes to be reseted and the car won't start. Nissan dealer charges $800 to reprogram.

    Fuckkkkk that......I would be really pissed off if that happend to my audi...I would loose it

    ^^^^ Yup.. but you'll hear nissan/toyota owners bitching about Audi's reliability problems. I think they have their own issues as well.
