Rennworx RSL Dilemma

I've got a problem...

After god knows how long I've finally set my sights on what rims I want, Rennworx RSL's in 19x8.5.

So I send Bill at Rennworx an email querying as to the price etc. of a set and to my horror he replies that they are stopping production. Something to do with the raw forging supplier! But he has a set of 19x8's and 19x9's.

So I spent just about all of Firday at the office searchin if 19x9 is doable with non stretched rims, want the protection for the rim, and I couldnt find a definate answer.
I also dont know the offsets so still in the blind... anybody have experience with 19x9 RSL's???
Now 19x8 would mean a tire thinner than the 235 I have now, I wanted to go with a 19x8.5 and a 245 tire!!!

So do I now blow $4000 on a set of rims which might not lead to the results I want cause they're a different size and rush in to get the last ones????

Or do I wait and hope for a set of second hand RSL's or just look for something else and if so what.. HRE M40's maybe????

What do you guys think????

Just my opinion, but there are plenty of other 1-piece, forged wheels out there. And the HRE M40 is even more expensive... about $1600/per.

i believe you can run a 245 on a 19x8.

are they stopping production on their entire line or just that model?

gonna be tough finding a replacement if you end up needed a wheel or two once discontinued.
