    change/credit card bin stuck

    my creditcard/change tray is stuck in and i have no idea whether i should try prying it out or not, i tried prying it out and the faceplate where it has the little picture of credit cards on it popped off. idk what to do

    give up! haha...its not that useful....just put the stuff in the storage bin under the seat :up:

    mine got stuck before so i hit it a few times and was able to get it open enought to fix whatever was keeping it from opening, now i dont cram as much stuff in it.

    yeah, that thing is a piece of shit. I beat the shit out of my CC holder and I finally got it unstuck! Little did I know that it would only be stuck open! My advice to you: bang all you want on it, but just expect to buy a new one if you want it to actually function.

    it got stuck once before and i fixed it by just bangin on it but this time its being a bitch lol what i think is messing it up is when u put a lot of change in there it falls through the back and fucks it up

    funny thing is the dealer told me - its not for coins LOL $150 to fix, yeah right. got my stereo shop to release it from underneath & now its just of no use. that bin thing sucks.. release it & let it be

    had that happen to me once, i pryed on it a little bit, the plate came off, then i pryed somemore and it popped out!

    Use a flat screwdriver and gently pry up on and back it beside the red light.

    It's under a hundred dollars for a new one, and if you do replace it don't use it for anything other than cards or such... just thin, flat items that aren't likely to slide/fall behind the dash.

    you could pop off the trim above it (console colored trim just below your metal/wood/plastic decorative dash trim.) then it should be easy to pry it open. use a plastic trim tool or wedge so you don't damage the finish. Don't store any change or small items in there or in your ashtray, they will jam and break....
