    HELP! Loud noise while driving!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
When driving straight ahead or turning left my car constantly is making a loud drone/hum which sounds liek it is coming from the back. Just got brand new tires today and it still does it. However if i turn right the noise is gone completely. There is no rubbing or anything. Any Ideas?

    Fixed.

If the noise stops while turning right, the issue is on the right side. The reason the noise goes away is b/c you're unloading the suspension. This works the same as you're making a left hand turn, the suspension loads from the weight transfer to the right hand side. make sure it's from the rear before you go Gung-Ho on it and waste your time.

95% sure it's the bearing just from how you described it.

Just take a stethoscope and turn the wheel by hand to listen for any abnormal noise and feel for resistance.
