bad k03 gasket ? loud noise ..

took my car to a local shop today to have it checked and to see where the noise coems from when i accellerate.. it sounds like an exhaust with a hole in it.

we came to find out that the bolts on the turbo were loose (the one to the Test pipe) and we tighten them back up.. still a pretty loud noise from under the hood... you think the k03 gasket to the TP might have gone bad?? it looks kinda like it have mini holes in it.. ?? anyone ever had this ?

when you rev the car if you hear exhaust noise from the front of the engine then you have a bad gasket, a bad gasket or leak can really hurt your performance

so it's not uncommon for those gaskets to go bad right? glad i found it!

also found a huge boost leak with a pressure tester today! i replace the hose and boost is holding pretty good now! :)

i looked around for that gasket but havent found it yet..if anyone has an idea let use know!

i think this happens a lot, because of constant cooling and heating.

I have gone through 2 of those gaskets in the past year and a half.

Is it possible he just has a bad flex joint? Mine is making that same almost wooshing sound (not like boost though, more like a busrt of air moving through the hvac) I know I have a bad flex joint, and I'm curious if that could cause the same sound/problem...
