not too shabby. Cant say the glue gun sealing method on the wireing harness is all that classy, but after adjusting the bumper support height, and the inside corner pins a bit, fits very well.

    Looks fine too.

for 300 bucks you really cant go wrong.

only caveat is my corner lights use a different type of bulb so ill have to go get some.

jammed the OEM holder in there for now until i have time.

yeah the US headlights use a 4 prong or something like that and the ecodes AND the depos use 2 prong. so thats what has to happen you modify it to work. i melted the clips with a lighter on the inside of the housing. I love mine!

one of the little tabs is slightly off position, and they stock ones dont seal tightly enough, but it will do in anything short of a monsoon.

    Re: got my depo headlights.

i took the rubber washer seal thing off the bulb holder that came on the ecode and used it in conjunction with the one that came on the stock bulb holder and the stock bulb holder works well and seals tightly for those that dont want to hack shit up. you also have to cut one of the tabs off of so that it can screw in. about bulbs i think the S-YO or whatever bulbs are fine but BE CAREFUL using bulbs that blink white. i feel ya deb my old ecodes melted and i bought new ones because i couldnt deal with it... sigh

    thanks for the advice.

looks like i gotta aim the things better.. but the light output and cutoff are noticeably improved over my stockers.

    Re: got my depo headlights.

here, dont try breaking them like i did, well did you install the motor from the stockers back in? so they auto level? if so, use this to aim them lol

    http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/car...alignment.html

you need to have VAG com and open the block to tell the little motor you will be changing the position, it "learns" it then youre good to go!
