    anyone running a Jetex exhaust?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
My 2.0TQ SE came with single round (90mm?) exits either side on the exhaust & they're anodised black, or perhaps painted.

I want a pair of shiny polished SS single 100mm exits, but I'm not too fussed about performance.

Anyone rocking a Jetex Stainless Steel Back Box?

    Any recommendations?

    Cheers peeps.

No, its a back box/rear silencer section with 2x 100mm exits.

I'm assuming Jetex are shipped to the States, then?

Jetex systems aren't as prevalent here, some people run them, but mostly on VW's and Saab's. The systems I've seen are nice though.

We don't get a lot of the European exhausts on this side of the pond, I think mainly because they're too expensive by the time they arrive here. That said, I recently got an Abt quad-tip system that is made by Sebring and I'm very pleased with it. Great quality and it sounds excellent. Have you got any pics?? Would be good to see how it fits...

I think I prefer the dual single-exit look to the quad exits, but I'm keen to see what you have?!

This is the best pic I have right now but I'll try to get some closeups soon.

Re: anyone running a Jetex exhaust?

I can get Jetex systems no problem. I used to run one on my MKIV Jetta, and I really liked how it sounded. I have not heard one on a 2.0t though, but I would imagine it would be a quiet deeper version of stock.
