Just installed my EVOMS Intake yesterday.
Only other thing I have is the APR 91 Chip.
In person it seriously sounds a lot better and louder.
It's turning hella heads when I drive by now

Sounds good! I have the Carbonio installed and I think the EVOMS might be a little deeper sound. Mine seems to be more of a higher pitched swirling sound although I have not heard it from outside of the car. Is that a forge DV valve with a spacer that you have installed? I have just the DV valve and it seems like I have to build a lot more boost in order to get that high of a PSSHH sound. I'm kinda happy about that though so I don't get that sound everytime I let off the gas. I find it gets a tad old/annoying after a while.

Oh nice. I didn't realize that the stock DV valve made that sound. I always thought you needed an aftermarket DV to get the sound. I guess all you need is an intake then? Correct me if I'm wrong: The sound is made from the valve diverting unused air back into the intake? I had my Carbonio and Forge DV installed at the same time, so I never got to hear what the stock DV would sound like with an aftermarket intake.

I also have EVOMS with stock DV, planning on putting Forge DV this coming Saturday, I wonder if anyone notice any noise change with Forge vs. stock DV?

is just me or is there so much wind and traffic noise that you can barely make out the car and intake... admire the effort but should have tried a quiet neighborhood :)

OH I know its not a lot different. If the quote would have been " I have a $20 cone filter thats sound like a EVO... or a Carbonio" I would have not said anything. After all it is cone filter in a box, with a fancy lid (in the case of a carbonio). But that wasn' the quote. The gentleman says it "pwns" it. I have had some cheaper cones filters and they work fine. Just never expereince one completely owning another one. And the heat box does make a siginificant but minor difference. Just partial to the exaggeration I guess.
