    Water Leak

Last night in KC we got some pretty bad rain. This morning I get in my car and the drivers side rear floor is a huge pool of water. The water went from the middle of under the drivers seat to the back of the floor pan (where the back seat starts to go up. I used about 6 large beach towels to sop up all of the water.

Could this be a clog in the sunroof drains? If so where would I look to find the clogged drain?

    Re: Water Leak

Sunroof drain water usually comes out of the rear pillar on the passenger side form what I know. I believe Audiworld has a write up on cleaning it out. You have to take off the bumper and shit.

    Re: Water Leak

I thought about it after my original post that how would rain get into the drain if my sunroof was closed. I'm 99% sure my sunroof is sealing fine. Thanks for any help and any ideas would be great.

    Re: Water Leak

I checked the areas around the trunk seal and all around the rear window and it all seems clean.

There is know other sign of water any where but on the floor so its not dripping from the ceiling.

    Re: Water Leak

check the hood release cable grommet next to the ECU. i had huge puddles behind my driver's seat because it was not seated fully in the hole to seal it. The water was running down the door frame and pooling under my seat.
