just a quick oil question

I've never liked any castrol products. I've seen what some of there older stuff does to motors. I was always told by my mechanics that, if i loved my cars, I'd keep them away from castrol...lol

Stick with mobil 1, amsoil, royal purple, or OEM pentosin (spelling?)

Maybe they formula has changed then...I was told that it wasn't any good many years ago

yeah the 0w-30 'made in germany' Syntec is really good stuff.

i actually just switched from that to Royal Purple 5-30. My engine runs muchhhh smoother, to be honest I think 0-30 is just too light for startup, like thats when i notice the smoother part. Starts up quicker on 5-30 than it did on 0.

placebo. syntec 0w-30 actually runs closer to a 40-weight than a 30. Both are good oils but run whatever psychologically does it for ya
