matte black mirror covers

so I've picked up an extra set of mirror covers and want to make them matte black.

regular flat black aerosol or plasti-dip?

I would not go with the plasti dip. Only reason is it leaves a semi textured feel and if it were me I would want that smooth satin look, like a hot rod.

Yeah, agreed. It's okay for grilles but probably not for mirrors.

I plasti dipped mine awhile ago and they look really good. After a week or 2 I put some wax on them and its a nice satin finish. Plus it doesnt chip off like spray paint would. I would get them profesiionally done if you arent using plastidip.

I used Krylon Ultra-flat and I love the look.

Yeah, that's probably a better route than Plasti-Dip.

Eh, I don't think I ever took a picture of it. The best one I might have is probably this rolling shot. Let me know if you want some closer pictures and I can do that today.
