Big Turbo Fuel Pump for B6 A4 1.8T

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Looking to run more than 20psi on my GT2871R on Unitronic 630cc.

What does everyone recommend or use for a fuel pump.

The fuel system is regulated at the fuel filter and returnless (one line going to fuel rail)

I purchased a walboro in-tank kit from Scott at USRT and he called me back saying it won't work.

is Bosch 044 my only option?

    TIA

No one has needed to upgrade the pump yet. I have a 2.0, 3071 and 630s @ 22psi and have no fuel pressure issues.

I've only heard of one person that was able to get the 044 pump to work on a B6. Everyone else has had problems. You might want to check out this pump if you're set on upgrading.

Well, I guess I don't have to upgrade my pump then. If you guys are running GT30's lol

    Thanks alot.

So I should be fine then :D

Maybe its just the VW's that need to upgrade their pumps.

What regulator are you guys running? 3.5 BAR (stock)?

You will be fine with the stock fuel pump for what your end goal is. I'll have no problems running the stock pump on my setup...

Upgrading rods, bearings, rings. Want to run ~23psi daily

330awhp on Full GT2871R is the goal

Thanks everyone for your input. :D

Like everyone else said you don't need to upgrade your pump. But fyi, I've upgraded my pump when my oem was showing show failure. Do a search for my thread about it. You cannot use the 044 pump as it is too tall but there is a bosch high flow pump that is shorter that can be used. My thread has the correct part number.

I did the same. I feel much better knowing I'm not running the pos oem pump.
