Noob questions

Hey all. I just purchased an '04 Avant and there are a couple things I could use a little help with. I've been a Dodge man for years so Audi's are a new game. I've been lurking here for awhile so I've read most of the DIY's and tech threads.

1. Is it only possible to change the car's language with a VAG tool? My car is French, and while I am bilingual, it would be nice to have it talk to me in my mother tongue.

2. I have a "Left Rear Light" (displayed in French of course) fault but all the lights are working. Anyone have any suggestions?

3. I've read that the dual side mount's is possible. Is there anyone that has done it that might be willing to PM me so I can ask some questions without having to post a new thread?

as for 1. I'm certain you can. Below is a link for a Rosstech Vag-com scan tool. There is a free version with limited access and you need the cable. If you need the full version is ~250 USD or a Starbucks coffee if someone local can do it for you.
