Update on the Gristmill Event!!

Bo Rivers has been nice enough to invite us to try his new race track.
Anyone interested and driving an Audi can participate in a HHR driving event. Fully open to Noobs etc. AND!!! it will be this next Saturday May 10th before the Gristmill. Gristmill is moving back to a 230pm.

So at 10Am, we will meet at HHR in San Marcos.
Everyone in an AUDI and a member of TAG (if you're not yet a member bring 25 dollars).
Will be divided into 3 groups. Novice/touring, Intermediate, and Advanced.

All 3 groups will be follow the Lead.

Intermediate and Advanced will require Helmets for drivers and passengers.

We will be limited to 24 vehicles total (all 3 groups). And since this is a TAG thing, everyone wishing to drive must come to Gristmill afterwards and regale us with track stories. I set it up so I can set the rules.

Everyone must sign a waiver to get on the track.

There will be two 15 minute sessions per group. For a total of 30 minutes of track time.

Novice group is touring speeds, no helmet.

Intermediate Group is helmets with some track experience.

Advanced is helmets with previous driving track experience.

So for this I require an RSVP. Current TAG members are currently reserved 10 spots. leaving 14 for future TAG members. To Clarify, current TAG members are those who attended the Nov17,2007 TWS event.

People wishing to become members of HHR track will also get priority, this is of course a promotional for Bo and his facitility and mean to entice members to his facility!

After HHR, we will proceed to Gruene for dinner. Gristmill will be at 230pm which gives us plenty of time incase we go long at HHR, we will fill in time by doing a quasi hill country "we got lost" drive to Gristmill.

Gruene is just north of New Braunsfels.

So its about 40 miles from Austin and 30 miles from San Antonio.

This will be May 10th at 2:30pm.

So Current Poll is for attendance at Gristmill.

Driving Spots are Claimed first come first serve, except for TAG members, If you claim a spot, make all effort in the world to actually be there, cause otherwise you're denying a spot for someone else. If you in anyway think you might not make it, then don't claim a spot.
