it dosen't happen all the time but sometimes when i'm driving at thake the car out of gear regardless what gear i'm in the RPM falls and sometimes bounces back but a few times the car stalls on me....i have checked with the VAG and there's no codes...otherwise the car runs fine, and at idle is stable and smooth..

any ideas on what it could be???

    thank you

i don't think that it'll be the throttle, cause if it were it would set some kind of code...but again anything is possible, and if i knew exactly what it was i would have fixed my car already...but if i find anything on mine i'll let you know what it was

Try cleaning the throttle body? could be gummed up and sticking a bit at times.

    Re: car stalling

I recently had this problem on my 1999 2.8. It turned out to be my spark plugs. I would suggest taking a look at one of them and determine if you need to change them and go from there.

My bet is either vacuum leak or in need of a throttle body adaptation. Always works for me.
