Need help with 18x9.5 wheel sizing on A6 4.2

I am looking at putting on the Mandrus emil's in an 18x9.5 on my 4.2. Stock sport size is 17x8 et35 and many recommend an 18x8.5 et30 but I bolted up an RS4 rep in that size last week and it still looked sunken in.

If I run an 18x9.5 am I better off with an et25 or et35 offset?

Closest I've found is this S6 with 19x9.5 emil's. Not sure what offset he's running though.
