How is this contained going to be cleaned? Looks like it will need to be removed.

    Re: Catch can update

you should get a flange welded on at the bottom so you can run a hose with a valve on it and run it downwards. When you want to drain it into a bucket, just open up the valve.

at this time I just have it setup so that I just take it out which isn't hard since its held in with 1 bolt. If I want to add a drain I would have to change the design, but I could just take off 1 filter and use a vacuum setup to clean out the can.

collects oil vapours that condense from the pcv system so that that crude(water/oil mixture) doesn't get back into the crankcase and cause sludge problems.

I sent this one up with -10 fittings and the fittings are done so that the lines will run thru the firewall right to the fittings. The next one I am having made which will hold a race battery will have the lines going into the side of the catch can not the front so that they can be ran around or thru a single opening in the firewall.

Fred no it does not "yet" but I am sure you would end up having it overlayed in CF, you overlay WHORE.

    Re: Catch can update

Then why does 034 use a -12 on the valve cover and block breather? I think that is to big of a line to run in the spaces provided in these bays. I had a hard enough time runing my -10 setup

You can always reduce it to whatever size you want. You're not stuck with the -12.....

Correct. Thats just the size of the adaptor 034 offers. There are adaptors with the same size thread that will have a -10 AN male on the other side.

-10 AN Male to 3/ 4 in. NPT Male

I wanted black but cant seem to find a 3/4 to -10 AN male in anything but blue, but since its for the block breather it doesn't matter to me since it cant be seen anyway.

Male -10 AN to Male 1/ 2 in. NPT

These are the adaptors I am ordering for my setup.

I already made a long list of needed parts for my catch can setup that includes all the part #'s and prices.

Where are you sourcing all your fittings from? Using SS braided lines?

Yeah but the AN fittings all have red on them which I dont like. I have those fittings on my fuel system which is why I will be doing all black AN fittings for my catch can.

Sits perfectly on the battery tray. It is a little wider and shorter then the stock battery.

    Re: Catch can update

Ok a few pics while working on doing the -10 lines and fittings.

    With 034 block breather installed

VC breather and both -10 lines. AN fittings are just dirty from putting the lines together.

The next catch can I get wont have the fittings on the front so only 1 hole will be needed to run the lines thru the battery wall.

That block breather adapter is money! I can't wait until mine arrives. The valve cover looks CLEAN! I need to send mine to them and have 'em paint it and put the fitting on the back.

    Looking good!
