Bought Fogs for my car had a dude try to put them on right. Well we tried that and turned them on they would stay on for 3 secs then turn its self off. we then bough low voltage relays for the car. that didnt do anything. The best that we could do was get one fog light to work on One side. Does any one know anything about the electrical system on an Audi and Why these Fogs wont work properly. (it wasnt the kit cause we plug them out, outside of the car and it worked)

Hmm, I guess if the computer would switch them off after 3 sec automaticly there most be a reason and you might find a error code on the cluster or vag-com???

    Maybe this helps you:

What bulbs are you using? And make sure you ask him what exactly he did. I rather use OE wiring, maybe relays? Thankfully my HIDs didn't require any.

    Re: Owner of a 03 Audi A4 3.0 - HID FOG HELP

this has been talked over before... mine did the same thing..... certain kit's cause our car's computer to be a dick, and turn one or both bulbs off after few seconds... why - nobody has any idea... maybe too much/too little power drain.... But VVME H11 hid kit proved (in many cases) to work good... so I just ended up getting that.... as for getting relays and what not to make their troubling kit work - I don't know anyone yet... Good luck!
