If u want to do it nice go to Chart house in edgewater they have a website ..Chart house is like 25 mins from wayne but u get sick views right on the hudson river looking at the city

food there has gotten much worse. most of your money goes towards the view. skip.

Not too far from Wayne is The Manor in West Orange, or the Highlawn Pavillion. The view at the Highlawn is worth every penny . It is perched atop a cliff, and overlooks Jersey, and you can see the NYC skyline from there. Food is top notch, and so is the service, but you pay big time for the experience.

I live near Panevino, and have eaten there several times. It's really nothing special in my opinion. Chart house, River Palm in Edgewater, The Manor, The Highlawn Pavillion, are all top rated.

I haven't tried that place although it's only about 5 minutes from me. I hear it's about the same price as Ruth's Cris, which is way overpriced in my opinion.
