    awe exhaust picture request :O)

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
For some reason all of the pictures that I've seen of the positioning AWE exhaust on the A4 look funny. It seems like it sits too far out or it hangs too low. So before I make a purchase I would like to see more pictures please

It would be better if I saw it in person but I don't know anyone around here that has one.

I have it on my B6 A4 and it looks great, you can see the muffler bottom a little bit with the stock lower bumper. Like stated above the tips are adjustable if you wanted to flush it up with the bumper cut outs.

I know it's adjustable.. is anyone ever worried about people stealing the tips?

I would just have to say I could not be happier with my AWE exhaust. Looks great, sounds better, and there is some good performance there too. I generally always recommend it to people who ask. When I was deciding on exhaust I narrowed the field to milltek, StaSIS, and AWE. I had heard (at the time) that there was some fitment issues with milltek. The StaSIS looked an sounded great as well, but in the end I got a good deal on the AWE and I thought that it was the best overall. Although the StaSIS tips are pretty cool.

    AWE-tuning Exhuast FTW!

It has the adjustable tips so you can have it further in or out if you like. I love it! Sound is perfect, and it looks awesome too!

Also keep in mind, despite what brand you get, and where you adjust them to, the Tips will grow and they get hot. Mine are just past flush with the rear valence, but after and hour of spirit driving they are considerably farther out. If you park, turn your car off and have a couple cigs, you can watch the the tips shrink back to the normal position.... I am usually pretty busy, honest.

the AWE exhaust bolts up perfectly. It has a couple different adjustment points and I don't think it hangs to low at all. As far as the tips sticking out too much, thats just personal preference as the tips are adjustable as well.

Re: awe exhaust picture request :O)

One more question... What about noise level? I just came out of an R32 with the o so common flapper modification...so I'm used to a nice exhaust sound but I'm getting a little older now and I want something a little more suddle.. Is AWE really loud or just right? I've heard many people say on this forum that it's one of the loudest... opinions?
