SPORTEC front bumper, the "unicorn" for the B6?

so, i am extremely partial to the sportec front bumper for our car, but everytime i come across one, im either too late to purchase, or the seller does not want to ship across country.

is there absolutely no where to get these bumpers new, or even a replica for that matter? (im here for the looks and am very capable of body work if fitment isnt perfect)

anyhow, its just a bummer that such a good looking front end isnt as available as one would wish, and i wouldnt mind shelling out the cash for a new one. any thoughts or help? appreciate it fellas.

Contact Scott@Rival (he sponsors the interior electronics forum) as he was the importer for a couple years. IIRC, He still has contacts w/ the company and/or new importer.

Be prepared to pay over $1K for a new one (if they even make it anymore) as Sportec pieces are very rare and very expensive w/ the crappy euro-dollar exchange rate.
