DTM front bumper OEM, blackout grill.

All I gotta say its one of the best front bumper out there,
Any Questions / Comments welcome.

My question to everyone : Should I paint the 2 chrome strips on the front filler plate BLACK???? or leave um?

Probably would be easier/cheaper to buy the blackout filler (if they make one for non-S Line). Looks awesome though!! I might be about to go the same route since my bumper is effectively ruined...

Yea, I could but instead I just painted the filler plate glossy black myself, save the $100 to pay for gas. and it doesnt look half bad IMO.

ahh thats why its glossy ... well I think your front bumper looks Bitchin!! but your filler plate is ... IMO of coarse .. freakin to shinny... I would go flat Sline TI black ... but thats just my opinion ... Mod on !!

FOGS might might be possible if intensive work is done, but I didnt have the time to do it since the shop did everything. I just caped it with a resistor from Radio Shack.

I was in a little fender bender accident over the winter (snow). So I just claimed Insurance on this just and tweaked some numbers with the body shop to get it done :)

Looks badass!!! When clean, black has got to be the best color on any car IMO.

You should clear corner or black out your housings. or do both. But it looks sweet as is.

I am not sure why theres a larger gap. This bumper and Grill are all OEM, perhaps the shop didn't install it properly? I am not sure nor does it bother me much.

Its not hard, I took off the bumper once before, and just switch the bumper and switch the grill that is screwed together by a few screws and put everything back together. Also removing the fog light ballast? or some box that was mounted on the bumper had to be transfered over as well.Most people would be concern about the cost of the bumper and paint cost thats about it.

There are two black threaded columns on either side of the grill that can be adjusted to move the bumper position. If I had to guess, I'd say the body shop messed with them and that's why you have that gap. When I installed my front I left the columns as-is, and getting the bumper to fit was a bit of a hassle, but it ended up without a gap like that. Looks good though.

DTM front looks great but I'm just not a fan of the wheels. It's your car and if you're happy that's all that matters plus I'm very picky on wheels anyway. I love the front!
