Powder Coat OEM Rims

I'm thinking about powdercoating my stock 10 spoke rims on my 01 black facelift a4, black. What do you think? It the rims in the picture. Or does anyone have reccomendations for rims to buy i dont want to spend over 1000. i want black and not way way too many spokes but not under 10. also what would be the best way to get the red outline finish around them?

the time attack theme needs a very specific car to be pulled off...and even then i thin ive seen less than 3 clean examples.

there are a TON of wheels you can get for >1000....RC's, RX II's, hartmann reps(rs4, rs6) raderwerks porsche reps(many to choose from), just to name a few that i personally like.

They look like they curve out in the center like mine, if that is the case just save up for something better (and lighter) because they are a poor design that damages easily if you're not extra careful.

I named no less than 3 sets of wheels for >1000, and 2 online shops to find more.

put your powdercoating money towards a new set.

Powdercoating will probably run 2-300 for the blast and coat and another 100 or so to have the tires pulled before and then remounted and balanced after.

If you are going to do black then you might as well do the stock wheels. From even a small distance so much of the detail is lost that they really do all look the same. All you can see is where the spokes block the rotor.
