Daytons just dont go flying. Maybe its a replica from China or the knockoff wasnt tightend properly. The dude aint helpin' his case by posting that he immediately jumped out the car to snap pics (typical forum post whore). Hes gonna get a good settlement regardless and does not need to keep asking for links to posts or stories of wire wheels falling off.

Glad his moonroof was closed!!!! No need for it now, should have plenty of fresh air now. The tire looks a little worn as well, however he shoud be able to sell the wheel of on ebay.
Man that is crazy, guess he had an angel on his shoulder that day.

that is unreal...amazing what a flying tire can do.....i'm no physics major, but let's say the wheel flies off the car at 60mph bounces a few times and hits the car at like, what, 120-150mph???....

I saw this same exact thing happen live on the Bay bridge but it was a tire off a BIG RIG! I was passing the metering lights and the BIG RIG was comming out from underneath. Then I see his wheel pop off and shoot about 100+' in the air and bounce a few times like one of those super bnouncy balls from a gum ball machine.
