Is it possible to adjust headlight projectors from side to side?

I got a HID kit for my stock projectors and it seems like they are pointing sideways more than straight. Is it possible to adjust them from side to side?

Yes on of the screws on each headlight is for up/down and the other is for right/left. I forget which one is which, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

I believe the outside screw is for left/right. Inside is for up/down.

    Try this,

Go somewhere where you can drive up real close to a wall, but still back up about 20 feet.

Go at night. Drive as close to the wall as possible and mark (with masking tape or whatever) where the lights are pointing. Then drive straight back about 20 feet and aim the center of the beam 2" to the right and 2" down from the mark.

    Correct.

Inner adjuster is the same as the driver side headlight.

I think I did an adjustment that went too far and I heard something click. Now I don't see any movement, is the headlights damaged, and what is the fix?

Two possible outcomes, the plastic ball has popped out of the socket or the adjuster mechanism is broken; you went too far.

I did this with my Depot ecodes, the adjustment screw has a little ball that pulls out of the projector assembly. Take the headlight out, and push it back in by hand.

Do I have to take out the headlight or just the bulbs... And with that being said, if the adjustment range isn't going to where it would be sufficient, how do I get it to a good aim?

I took the headlight out, because you have to stick your hand in through the back to snap it back in. As far as aiming it, I was more careful the second time.

You don't have to take off the bumper to get the headlights off.

I'm referring to taking one piece headlights out of a 2000 audi a4 b5.

I'm not sure about 2 piece headlights, but one piece you can get out without removing anything.

Be careful please, I don't want to be responsible when you break tabs on the headlights.

Any way to explain cuz I know at least I would have to disconnect the bumper from the fender and push down... Maybe that. Otherwise do u have a pic of this ball that I have to push back in so I know what I would be looking for?

I'm not sure if HID and non HID are different. But I took a peek at my non HID lights to see if I can spot this ball or anything out of order. I had no luck in spotting any ball of anything and I dont want to take out the HID ones only to get stumped again.
