Its Bryson, And I've Painted My Headlights Again! Muahahah! Now With Two Projectors!

well guys, i was bored....AND BROKE. And i was not liking the blacked out lights as much as i thought. It made my car look small, weak, and worst of all...CHEAP!! what really got me thinking was someone on my other headlight thread said it looked like a mazda 3, and he could'nt of been more right, but i wasnt about to go out and buy the matching mazda emblems...I had to save my B7, and since the chrome was gone, my only option was to paint some of the pieces in a lighter shade of black..GREY!! it gives interest, and contrast to the lights, and it gave back the car its mean look that it once had. What i didnt realize before was after putting the cover on over the all-blacked out light, it acted as a clear coat over a whole bunch of black, it honestly looked like my lights were tinted, only when in direct sunlight, could you see the individual pieces. And toward the end i was in my room and saw my box full of old HID stuff, i had extra clear lenses from infiniti FX35 projectors from my beemer when it got totaled, and to my surprise, the lense is almost exactly the same size as the hole where the amber lense goes for the blinker....and it hit me then..."i wonder if it will work"...after a few minutes scratching my head i figured a way to put them in! to the untrained eye it seems as if i have two projectors in one headlight! but really its just a lense over the orange bulb. Its the clear corner mod in a whole new way!Anyways enough yabba jabba...heres the result!

hey thanks for all the good feedback guys! i just tried the blinker out in the dark...it looks crazy! if you look at the edge of the lense theres a deep red color!

hey bryson, great job with those! i dig the projectors! kinda funny how a lot of people try to get rid of the orange bulb, but with the convex nature of the projector, it actually magnifies the orange bulb at some angles.

i definitely admire your craftsmanship. it might just be the pictures, but the grey might look a little flat... like an unpainted plastic model, or primer paint. i'm curious to see how it would look if the grey was glossy, or color matched to the body color... just a thought if you happen to get bored again.
