So after having the car for about a year, and even attempting to sell it at one point, I've decided to stay with the car for a simple reason; After driving it for so long, I've gotten quite attached to it, and it seems to look better and better each day whenever i look back at it when i walk away lol. I decided to de-badge it today, so here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure:

Hopefully this weekend or the next, I'll be doing the Clear Corner mod. Any advice, aside from the ones already given on the a4mods DIY site, would be appreciated. I'm a little nervous about drilling the headlights, as i want to save money doing this mod, not spend it :)

Future plans include the very well known RS4 Replicas 19' and I want to swap out this 4x4, 2004 Sport suspension with the 2002 sport suspension, so if anyone has that suspension in good condition, let me know.

    Thanks for looking :)

Good job, I did my debadge this past weekend. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

I am planning on lowering it. Except i don't want to go after market suspension. Had a set of Tein Coils on my previous car ('96 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD) and those things were a nightmare to drive around in. I know there are coils much softer but i like the idea of STOCK. So I'm looking for a 2002 Sport Suspension to swap in there.

As far as the spoiler goes, I actually got that from my brother for my birthday lol He said he got it from "TheSpoilerStore" on Ebay. So i doubt that its ABT

I'm not sure, but I think you're going to have some rubbing issues with 19' wheels haha!!!

When the GB on STaSIS Streetsports goes through I'll have my '02 sport suspension to get rid of. Send me a pm with an offer. Car has about 78k on the odometer.

as far as the rubbing goes, i hope not lol I mean I've seen hundreds of photos and reviews from people who run those wheels with 19' and 235x35x19 tires. I'll have my fingers crossed.

Thanks a lot for the suspension offer, sounds good but 78k miles on a set of suspension is a tad too much for my taste. Looking to hopefully find some with no more than 55k...maybe 60k...I realize '02 is already 6 years old, so won't be easy. But I've got time

....You mentioned you're waiting for a group buy for Stasis, If the price is right i would love to go for Stasis Street Sports, I've read a lot about them. If one goes through, or is going through, would you mind letting me know? Thanks!! :)

Yeah I dont think you have sport suspension at all on there now. That looks like the standard non-sport. It will be sweet as hell lowered with rs4 reps though. I love DG.

I found the ad and in the process of getting them. Just waiting for the seller to provide me with his pay pal address.

Once again, Thanks a bunch for the heads up. He said shipping is 9-10 business so they won't be on the car for a good 2 weeks. I'll make sure to post pictures.

haha Yeah the '03 and up Sport suspensions don't have anything sporty about it. Oh well, that doesn't matter now because I'm picking up a set of used '02 sport shocks and springs from a fellow audiziner.

    Thanks for the comment

well different people use different things. You can use GooGone, i think it's called but here's what i did:

after i got the badges off i just used my nails to peel as much of the thicker left over glue as I could. than i took a cloth/soft towel and damped part of it with Gasoline...yes, the same gasoline that goes in your gas tank.

Than I just rubbed vigorously the glued area with the gasoline-damped part of the cloth. Afterward I used a thing called Scratch-X (autozone $6) and applied it to the gasoline treated areas. The Scratch-X gets rid of any swirl marks or scratches in your paint, so any swirls i caused by rubbing with the cloth, vanished after about 2 or 3 applications of scratch-X.

    So basically:

    -heat the badge
-use floss or fish line to remove it
-peel the thicker glue with your nails
-rub vigorously with a gasoline soaked cloth (repeat until there are minimal traces of glue)
-apply Scratch-X to get rid of any swirl marks caused by the cloth (repeat until smooth and shiny)

If you have any other questions feel free to shoot me a PM
