cant really fill up gas.................

so this is twice now that when i go to the gas station, i put in the "gun" and it only goes for a second and stops and i pull out the "gun" and it like pssh at me like its releasing pressure.... do i have a bad check valve or something that isnt letting out the pressure when i start to fill up??

I had this issue. I resolved it by taking off the cap and waiting about 30 seconds for the pressure to release then start filling. Hasnt happend since

I have had this happen to me a couple of times. Try putting the nozzle only in half way. I think the excess gas fumes cut's off the flow b/c it thinks your tank is full.

I also had this problem at basically any gas station I go to. I found one pump, and only that one pump that doesn't cause it, so I use it every time I fill up. So I'm thinking that one pump has a problem, but it made new friend, that is my car. I'll have to try waiting 30 seconds when my pump is occupied.

Hold it at a slight angle. I think it has something to do with the Anti-Cyphen (sp?) Mechanism?

HA i had the same thing but i thought i was just the pumps fault. it took me SO long that i gave up on 10, dam thing kept clicking even holding it! so i was like okay bye and it didnt happen somewhere else so ??
