I'm pretty sure you could call it stage 3 since you have upgraded the turbo, but since it may be considered an oem turbo, it could be something different.

Stage 2+ since your running one of the more aggressive K04 files. Stage 3 would be a BT setup.

    238chp, pretty good #.

    Re: What Stage should I....

I'd either go Stg 3, or a DIY GTRS/28RS setup.

I'm suprised you only made 167whp on a K04, especially with a GIAC file. I thought those were normal numbers for the stock turbo, tuned + exhaust.

LOL, I think you missed my post. That 167whp is on a Dynodynamic dyno which is 30% driveline loss. This is why I said "nice 238chp".

Did CPT do your work or did you just dyno it there? I was REALLY turned off when I went in looking to give them some business and was told " We don't like the 1.8t, no potential for real power". Aside from ignorant comments like that, it was a really nice shop. Many b5 S4's on lifts. Lake is REAL shitty by them too, I felt sorry for my suspension.

    Nice numbers.

something that i can't quite understand, you have K04, giac file, FMIC, and you only pulled 167, i just had my car on the Dyno the other week, and i put down 165 whp and 208 torque and on another run 163whp and 213 torque, and my only mods are FMIC, and revo stage one file.

its 204whp on non-dynodynamic dyno aka 22% drivetrain loss

Not all dyno's are equal, each type will give different readings because they are of a different design. So just because his car put down 167 and you put 165 doesn't mean you make the same chp.

They did some work on my car before and very happy. I took my car in for proper tuning so that is why I had the dyno numbers and yeah Lake is such a bitch! I drove with my hazzard on until I got to 294

My other question is why I only boost 17 psi and holding on 12 psi based on the dyno when awe-tuning said it should be boosting up to 21 psi holding 19 psi? Any suggestions?

I've only seen 21 psi spikes with the PC16 in 85+ degree temps. I had to use a manual controller to raise the peak to 22 psi consistently. Even then, by 6k RPM, it has tapered off to 11-12 psi.
